Joel B. Capucao, M.D.

Joel B. Capucao, M.D. is a PA licensed psychiatrist and diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He has completed Psychiatry Residencies at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Queens, NY, and Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He served as Chief Resident at Temple University Hospital during which time he was awarded the Psychiatry Resident of the Year from Pfizer and the McLaughlin Foundation. His training has included clinical rotations in forensic settings, the Veterans Administration Medical Centers, inpatient hospital units, and outpatient community mental health centers. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from University of the East Ramon Magsaysay, Quezon City, in the Phillipines. He is currently an attending physician for the Mainline Health system on staff at Bryn Mawr, Lankenau, and Paoli hospitals and the American Day program in Exton, PA. He holds professional memberships in the American Psychiatric Association and the Association of Practicing Phillippine Physicians. He is fluent in English and Tagalog. Dr. Capucao provides clinical diagnostic evaluation, consultation, and medication management for individuals 18 and older. He is highly experienced in treating a wide range of behavioral health concerns.
